Do you have an attorney on staff?

We do not have an attorney on our team, but consult with them in regards to our clients needs.

Can I be authorized to speak on my clients behalf?

Short answer, yes. There are some situations that an attorneys voice can help push a transaction forward.

Can we correspond with the lender(s) in tandem?

We can never deny a clients counsel from being involved. However, we prefer to have one voice throughout the process. We can give you shared access through our transaction software so you can receive updates and track the status.

What are the different regulations that Atlas must comply with?

Atlas is required to comply with all rules and regulations set forth by the Mortgage Assistance Relief Services Act (MARS) and the Protection of Homeowners in Foreclosure Act (PHIFA).  Our client service agreement covers the requirements set by these laws. The listing agent will be provided with additional necessary forms to make sure the contracts that are submitted are fully compliant.

How can Atlas assist my clients going through divorce?

Going through a divorce is an obvious hardship for any owner and the lender also recognizes this. Atlas Loss Mitigation would represent your client as a third party to negotiate the short sale.

How can Atlas assist my clients with estate short sale?

Having a deceased homeowner is obviously another clear hardship to any lender, Atlas Loss Mitigation would represent your client as a 3rd party to negotiate the short sale.
